I'm contentedly retired now but I was on the staff of the BBC for 20 years, working across a wide range of broadcasting disciplines. After leaving the BBC staff in 2001 I worked as a freelance for the BBC and many other broadcasting organisations. My broadcast experience covers a wide range of disciplines. For TV: presenter, correspondent, reporter, producer and director. For radio: presenter, producer, commentator, reporter.

For BBC TV I created countless productions for national and regional TV, from 90-second shorts to 60-minute documentaries. These include Hillsborough - the Legacy for BBC Religion and The Perfect Player, the story of the legendary England footballer Sir Tom Finney presented by the ex-Liverpool footballer and TV pundit Alan Hansen.
